44. Monterrey

The plane takes off on time in Cancun, and lands on time in Monterrey. Good work, for the cheapest airline! Ana Sofia shows up with Alexis, a French friend, and they drive me straight to the city center to play parking spot hunting and finally have a beer in a pretty cool bar / gallery / art studio... One beer and it's already 3 am.
The next day, we eat (way too much) meat in a restaurant. Monterrey is supposed to produce the best beef in Mexico. It was good. Then I leave them for a tour of the city center, especially the Parque Fondadura, established on a huge former foundry and featuring quite a few old industrial equipment...
Then, after this short visit, we take a midnight bus to Aguascalientes, full of Ana Sofia's customers (she organizes tours).
 A la feria!

L'avion decolle a l'heure de Cancun et atterrit egalement a l'heure a Monterrey. Parfait.
